I have been an amateur astronomer most of my life and I have been building telescopes for years. I was focused on visual astronomy almost exclusively but older eyes mean I need a new trick. As usual, Laura got pulled into this and lately we have gotten into astrophotography. The cameras see way better than my eyes and we can look at pics on a big monitor. This is not easy and little things ruin awesome pics quickly. We have a lot to learn but we don't intend to learn too much. We are both engineers. Our professional work has lived and died based on precision for years. Now we only want to do what makes us happy, even if it is not perfect.
